Program

Day 1 The Sila National Park
Once in Calabria we will enter in the territory of Sila and we will reach Lorica, a characteristic mountain town overlooking Lake Arvo. Here we will settle in the hotel where we will be greeted with a welcome drink. In the evening we will taste the typical locality in a typical restaurant.

Day 2 Il cuore del Parco, vette panoramiche e pascoli d’alta quota
After breakfast we will take the crossing of the park through the Fossiata (1315 mt), Cozzo del Principe (1600 mt), Macchialonga (1528 mt), Serra Ripollata (1682 mt) and Villaggio Zarella (1392 mt). We will walk through the heart of the Park, with its panoramic peaks, high altitude pastures and huge forests offering shelter to a large number of wildlife.

Day 3 Secular trees and the summit of the Park
The third day will be open with a visit to the Giganti della Sila, Natural Reserve of Fallistro, entrusted to the FAI and whose vegetation is characterized by the presence of the "giants", the ultra-secular larch pines dominating the tremolo poplar, beech and mountain maple . Breakfast and lunch delivery. Then we will continue for Monte Botte Donato where we will touch the 1928 mt altitude, the highest peak on the silano plateau. In the afternoon we will return to Lorica. We'll have dinner at a typical restaurant.
