Program
Day 1 The execellence of Strongoli
Strongoli's stage will open our way. Here we will visit the cellars and
vineyards of a wonderful farm that extends between centuries-old olive
groves and native vineyards for about twenty acres. From these lands are
born wines d.o.c. and oils that have given over two thousand years,
authority and prestige to true Ciro, derived from white vines such as
Chardonnay, Bianco, Mantonico and Pecorello, and red such as Gaglioppo,
native grape, Cabernet Sauvignon and Magliocco. We will taste the wines
and oils of their production, counted and recognized as Calabrian excellence.
Then we will go to Santa Severina where we will be staying.

Day 2 Cirò wines
We will go to the discover the medieval village of Santa Severina, located in the valley of Neto, where we can admire the presence of Byzantine testimonies in the castle, in the church of Santa Filomena and the baptistery. Then we will move to Cirò, embellished by the presence of the Saracen Markets, an ancient structure of the 18th century. Here we will taste the wines of a farm that cultivates one hundred hectares of vineyards in the varieties Greco Bianco, Sangiovese, Magliocco, Greco Nero and Gaglioppo, the latter ancient vine native of the area, and we will visit their cellars.

Day 3 Le Castella
After breakfast we recommend a visit to Le Castella the Aragonese fortress of Isola Capo Rizzuto, which looks like a mirage in the middle of the sea. Then we will visit the vineyards of a local organic farm where oenological production comes from native grape varieties such as Gaglioppo, Magliocco, Greco Bianco, Mantonico Bianco, Nerello mascalese and international vines such as chardonnay, merlot and cabarnet frank.
