Day 1 Rossano and Cariati
We will begin our journey on the Ionian coast in the fabulous old town of
Rossano, embellished by the Byzantine churches that make it the capital of
Byzantine in Calabria. In the Cathedral Museum you can admire the famous
Codex Purpureus, a precious report with golden thumbnails. A world-wide
"unicum" subjected to continuous studies by researchers from all over the
world. Then we will go to a cellar where, at the end of the
visit, we will taste their extra virgin olive oil and some of their famous wines,
accompanied by tastes of local products.

Day 2 Isola Capo Rizzuto
A wonderful Wine and Food trail along wich we will discover the wines of the Crotone area. We will go to Le Castella, where one of the most charming castles in Italy, thanks also to its particular location, on a small island bound to the coast only by a thin strip of land. Later we will visit the vineyards of a local organic farm. Their oenological production comes from native grape varieties such as Gaglioppo, Magliocco, Greco Bianco, white Mantonico, Nerello Mascalese and international vines such as Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet frank. We will stop for lunch based on their products. We then recommend a stop at Capo Colonna promontory with a visit to the Archaeological Park and Museum, and then to Crotone to visit the National Archaeological Museum and the Medieval Castle.

Day 3 Elephant of Campana
Before we leave, we can venture into the Sila Mountains to discover the Stone Giants of Campana and the mystery that surrounds them.
In the Greek Sila, in fact, there is a huge Stone Elephant whose origin is still unknown. Studies have not yet established whether construction is the natural erosion of perpetual rock over the years, or it has undergone human intervention. A few meters away there is another megalith that represents the legs of a seated man. Afterwards, we will be able to continue the discovery of the Sila plateau, passing through the Giganti of Fallistro reserve and the National Park.
